Every year we go and build the bumhut out of only stuff we find on the beach. However, every winter it washes away when a big swell comes, so in the spring its a new project we all work on. The location is pretty secret, and with nothing else around in site you feel like your on an island. This lil slice of freedom and rawness is the oppisate feel I get from the concrete jungle at the beach in other parts of my life. I Love this shit.
Cape Cod- YARRRRRR Beach- Kodak 100VS and Portra 400VC shot on an apparently leaky m6.
This was shot last summer, but I never published it, and it seemed like such a classic summer shot.. Summer time- San Diego- Anon Pool party….Send it!
Here is another update on the people involved in the project. This time with the young phenomenon that has taken snowboard photography by storm, Cole Barash. Read more after the jump.
It’s important to have a spot, where you can shut it off. Shut off the BS, the cell phone, the email, the non sense. The one place I can really re charge the creative juice is Cape Cod. I shoot only when I want here, with no pressure, and choose the moments that mean something to me. A shot for the journal of my life.
